Privacy policy
Last updated: April 27, 2026
Welcome to Stiki — a sticker design app for cutting transparent stickers from photos, composing layers, organising packs and exporting to chat apps. We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This privacy policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have in relation to it.
1. Information we collect
We collect minimal data necessary to provide and improve the app experience:
- Usage analytics: We use Mixpanel to collect anonymised, non-personally identifiable data about how you interact with the app — such as which screens you open and which features you use. This helps us understand what works best and improve future updates. Personally identifiable information is not sent to Mixpanel.
- Subscription status: If you unlock additional features through an in-app entitlement, the transaction is processed entirely by Apple via the App Store and StoreKit. We do not collect, store or process your payment or billing details directly.
- Photo library and camera: Stiki may request access to your photo library and, where available, the camera so you can import images or capture new photos to turn into stickers. Images you select or capture are processed on your device; we do not upload your photos to our servers for storage.
- Sharing and export: When you export or share stickers (for example to WhatsApp, Telegram, Files or other apps), that transfer is initiated by you and handled by iOS and the destination app according to their own terms and policies.
- Support communications: If you contact us by email or through a support form, we receive your email address and the content of your message solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not sell this data or share it for advertising.
2. How we use your information
- To provide core app functionality including cutout editing, canvas composition, pack management, export and optional iMessage sticker browsing where the app offers it.
- To validate entitlements and access levels through Apple’s StoreKit framework when you use features that require them.
- To analyse anonymised usage patterns using Mixpanel and improve features and stability.
- To show in-app presentation screens for optional feature access using the Superwall SDK, in line with your device and App Store region settings.
- To respond to support requests you send to us directly.
3. Data storage
Projects, sticker images, pack metadata and app preferences are stored on your device using standard iOS storage (for example Core Data and file storage on disk). This content is not transmitted to our servers as part of normal app use.
If you have iCloud backup enabled on your iPhone, iOS may include app data in your backup. That process is governed by Apple’s privacy policy and is outside our control.
4. Third-party services
Stiki integrates the following services, each with their own privacy practices:
- Mixpanel — anonymised usage analytics. Mixpanel privacy policy
- Superwall — in-app presentation of optional feature screens. Superwall privacy policy
- Apple App Store / StoreKit — in-app entitlements and App Store transactions. Apple privacy policy
Chat and social apps you open from Stiki (such as WhatsApp or Telegram) have their own policies for content you send there.
5. Permissions we may request
- Photos: To import images from your library for editing and export.
- Camera: To capture new photos when you choose to create stickers from the camera.
You can revoke access at any time from iPhone Settings → Stiki. Features that need a given permission will not work until you grant it again.
6. Children’s privacy
Stiki is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
7. Your rights
Because your sticker projects and media on device are stored locally, you can remove them by deleting items inside the app or uninstalling Stiki. Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct or delete information we hold (such as support emails or analytics records tied to an anonymous identifier). To exercise these rights, contact us at luminityapple@gmail.com.
8. Data security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information we handle. Analytics data sent to Mixpanel is anonymised and transmitted over encrypted connections. We do not operate a cloud copy of your sticker library for routine app use.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy to reflect changes in the app or applicable law. We will note the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of Stiki after changes means you accept the updated policy.
10. Contact us
