1. General Provisions

This Privacy Policy applies to all information collected or processed in the Lumora mobile application (hereinafter — the "Application"), available on iPhone. By using the Application, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

2. What is Lumora

Lumora is a precision light meter for iPhone. The Application measures ambient illumination, color temperature (Kelvin), and the visible-light spectrum in real time. It also lets you sample colors from the camera feed, record full lighting sessions with location, video, and timeline data, and generate detailed PDF lighting reports. Lumora is an optical measurement tool for environmental lighting awareness — it is not a medical application and does not provide medical advice.

3. Data Collection

3.1 Data Required for Functionality

The Application may request access to:

• Camera — used to read ambient illumination, color temperature, the visible-light spectrum, and color samples from the live image. The camera feed is processed locally on your device. Frames are not uploaded to any server. Video files captured during a session (with optional lux/Kelvin overlays) are stored only on your device.
• Microphone — only requested if you choose to record video together with audio. Audio is captured into the local video file and is never streamed to any server.
• Photo Library — only requested when you explicitly export a recorded video or PDF report and choose to save it to your device.
• Location — used to tag lighting sessions with a geographic location and to render a small map preview inside PDF reports. Location is stored locally and is never sent to our servers.
• Notifications — used to deliver lighting comfort alerts when illumination or color temperature drift outside the recommended ranges of your selected profile. Alerts are scheduled locally on your device.

All permissions are requested via the system dialog and can be revoked at any time in iOS Settings.

3.2 User-Provided Information

You may voluntarily provide:

• Lighting session names, notes, and tags
• Custom comfort thresholds and selected lighting profile
• Saved color samples in your color library
• Notification title and body texts
• Messages sent to our support team

3.3 Automatically Collected Information

The Application may automatically collect limited technical information:

• Device type and model
• Operating system version
• Application usage statistics
• Crash reports and error data

This information is used exclusively to maintain and improve the Application.

4. Local Data Storage

All application data is stored locally on your device using CoreData and the local file system:

• Lighting sessions and their telemetry (illumination, color temperature, spectrum)
• Recorded session videos and color sample library
• Location data associated with sessions
• Lighting profile selection, comfort thresholds, and notification settings
• Sensor calibration offset
• Generated PDF reports

This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

5. Use of Analytics Services

We use Mixpanel, a third-party analytics service, to:

• Analyze feature usage within the Application
• Improve the user experience
• Diagnose errors and crashes
• Improve stability and performance

Mixpanel receives anonymized event data that does not personally identify you and never includes your camera feed, recordings, color samples, or precise location. You can learn more at mixpanel.com/legal/privacy-policy.

6. Subscription Management

Premium features are unlocked via subscription and managed using Superwall, a paywall and subscription orchestration service. Superwall receives anonymized subscription events (such as which paywall was shown and which plan was selected) but does not have access to your camera feed, recordings, color library, or location. 7. Use of Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide and maintain the Application's features
• Support users and respond to inquiries
• Improve the quality and performance of the Application
• Ensure security and prevent fraud
• Fulfill legal obligations

8. Data Transfer and Disclosure

We do not sell or transfer your personal data to third parties. Transfer is possible only to:

• Service providers necessary for the Application's operation (analytics, paywall orchestration)
• Authorities, when required by applicable law
• In cases necessary to protect rights, safety, or property

9. Location Information

The Application uses location data only to tag lighting sessions and to render an optional map snapshot inside PDF reports. Location is stored locally on your device and is never sent to our servers. We may approximately determine the user's region based on IP address or device region settings solely for improving the Application's performance.

10. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. Since all session data, recordings, and color samples are stored locally on your device and we do not store them on our servers, the risk of unauthorized access to your content is significantly reduced.

11. Children

The Application is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal data, please contact us.

12. User Rights (GDPR, CCPA, and Other Laws)

Depending on the legislation of your country, you may have the right to:

• Request access to your data
• Correct your data
• Delete your data
• Restrict or object to processing
• Receive a portable copy of your data

13. Subscriptions and Payments

The Application offers premium features via subscription (Pro plan, available monthly and annually).

Payment Processing: All payments are processed by Apple via the App Store. We:

• Do not have access to your payment card data
• Do not store any payment information
• Receive only anonymized confirmation of a completed purchase

Payment processing is carried out in accordance with Apple's Privacy Policy.

Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Managing Your Subscription: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions. Deleting the Application does not cancel an active subscription.

14. Not a Medical Application

Lumora is an optical measurement tool for environmental lighting awareness. It is not a medical device, does not provide medical diagnoses, and is not a substitute for professional advice. For any health concerns related to light exposure, blue-light sensitivity, sleep, or eye strain, please consult a qualified professional.

15. Changes to the Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The updated version will be published within the Application. Continued use of the Application after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
