1. General Provisions

This Privacy Policy applies to all information collected or processed in the Textune mobile application (the "Application"), available on iPhone. By using the Application, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

2. What is Textune

Textune is an iPhone app that turns everyday videos into polished, caption-ready content for Reels, Shorts, TikTok, and Stories. It helps you generate synchronized captions from speech, customize styles and templates, edit text and timing, apply Clean Speech tools, upload custom fonts, choose export formats, and create professional vertical videos ready to share.

3. Data Required for Functionality

The Application may request access to the following system features:

• Photo Library — used to import videos for captioning and to save finished videos you choose to keep.
• Speech Recognition — used to convert speech in your video audio into captions. Where supported, recognition can run on-device for a privacy-friendly experience.
• Microphone — used when speech recognition requires microphone access to process audio, and when you record a custom beep or censor sound for Clean Speech.
• Notifications — used optionally to inform you when a caption export finishes. You can disable notifications in iOS Settings at any time.
• App Tracking Transparency — may be requested so install attribution and advertising campaign performance can be measured in aggregated form. You can decline tracking.

You can manage these permissions at any time in iOS Settings.

4. Local Storage

Most Textune content stays on your device, including imported videos, generated captions, project drafts, selected styles and templates, custom fonts you upload, editor preferences, and exported files you choose to keep. This helps keep your work available inside the Application without requiring an account. Your videos remain under your control and stay on your device unless you choose to share or save them elsewhere.

5. Analytics

We use Mixpanel to understand feature usage, improve product stability and detect technical issues. Mixpanel receives event-level analytics data that does not directly identify you. Learn more at mixpanel.com/legal/privacy-policy.

6. Attribution & Advertising Analytics

The Application may use AppsFlyer and Meta (Facebook) SDK components for install attribution and advertising performance analysis in aggregated and statistical form. These services may process device identifiers when you grant tracking permission. You can manage tracking permission in iOS Settings.

7. Subscription Services

The Application uses Superwall for paywall presentation and subscription flow orchestration. Superwall may process anonymous paywall and purchase-flow events. Learn more at superwall.com/privacy.

Some features require an active subscription. Free access includes core caption creation with limitations on projects and save/share actions. Premium styles and templates, advanced caption animations, Clean Speech tools, custom font features, 4K export, watermark removal, and selected creative tools are available with a subscription.

8. Payments

Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Subscription renewal and cancellation are managed in iOS Settings.

9. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Data may be shared only with service providers required for Application functionality, analytics, diagnostics, attribution, or when legally required.

10. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect information handled by the Application. No digital system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we limit processing to what is needed for the product experience.

11. Children

The Application is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal data, contact us for review.

12. Your Rights

Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your data. You may also request additional details via the contact email below.

13. Website Demo

The Textune page on the Pixaro Studio website may offer a local browser demo that animates sample captions and format previews only on your device. That demo does not upload your media to our servers.

14. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Application after updates means you accept the revised Policy.
